Iggy Azalea Parts Ways With Island Records
Iggy Azalea canceled her Bad Girls Tour last month and now she celebrates free agency.
The pop icon took to her Twitter account yesterday to reveal the news:
“I’m officially unsigned !!!! Wild you spend so long trying to get IN a record deal… never thought I’d be so elated to be OUT of one. Now I’m free to release whatever kinda music I like, whenever I’d like woooo! .
Well still no music this year tho… I am no where near ready direction wise etc with the stuff I’ve been working on and I don’t wanna jump the gun and have some messy era aesthetically. I’m aiming to be ready to share new music early next year!”
After hearing of her independence Bang Bros reached out to Iggy with an offer she obviously declined:
“You should sign with US! AssParade would never be the same .”
The Australian beauty sent the internet into a frenzy when her rumored sex tape seemed like it might surface back in 2014, so it’s not surprising Bang Bros took a shot at the collaboration.
Azalea released her latest project Survive The Summer in August containing the popular song “Kream” featuring Tyga.
